Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager-Home Loans LIG/MIG role plays a crucial part in scaling up the Home Loan lending business for a designated area. This entails delivering banking needs to customers in the most cost-effective and technologically advanced manner.
This role involves close collaboration with various teams, including Retail, Product Head, Operations, Sales, Information Technology, Credit, and Business Intelligence, to provide a seamless and fulfilling customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Acquiring Home loan customers in the identified segment and generating referrals from the specified catchment area.
- Growing the asset under management base for home loan lending solutions and ensuring overall revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are met.
- Collaborating with the Product Head to offer best-in-class solutions for funding or multi-funding requirements and incentivizing key direct sales teams.
- Designing a channel mix strategy and developing constructive relationships with digital marketplace partners and key alliances.
- Creating a fulfilling customer journey leading to customer delight and making IDFC FIRST their banking partner of choice.
- Overseeing distribution channel success through relationship manager training, enablement, integration of alliance channels, improved turnaround time, and focused intervention on low-productivity locations.
- Ensuring the successful adoption of internal compliances and regulatory frameworks across the business.
- Collaborating with the Head of Collections to drive down net credit loss and delinquency metrics.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Home Loans, specifically in the Low-Income Group (LIG) or Middle-Income Group (MIG).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Math, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management; Post-graduation: MBA or PGDM.
