Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

At the forefront of cybersecurity, we are seeking a talented expert to drive our security and risk posture forward.

This role is part of a team responsible for securing our cloud and data center infrastructure. As a key contributor, your expertise will be instrumental in strengthening our defense mechanisms and enhancing our compliance posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect and analyze vulnerabilities across our environment.
  • Assess vulnerability risks to determine their true impact.
  • Support stakeholders as an SME to understand technical details of vulnerabilities and remediation steps.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track issue remediation until closure.
  • Act as an SME for new projects in terms of vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • Manage tools used to support the VM process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security and technology developments.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role such as vulnerability management specialist.
  • Proficiency in Qualys or other security vulnerability detection technology required.
  • Subject-matter expert level understanding in IT, security, and software disciplines.
  • Ability to understand application vulnerabilities and operating system vulnerabilities.
  • Must be able to multitask and keep track of large amounts of information.
  • Ability to make progress and define future strategy/policy regarding enterprise security.
  • Adherent to 'continuous monitoring' and 'continuous improvement' thought process.
  • Technical security expertise in various cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Comfortable interfacing with internal and external organizations regarding problems that must be addressed to enhance security posture.
  • Ability to effectively translate and present solutions in business terms.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python nice to have.
  • Moderate documentation and analytical skills; documenting processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ability to provide end-to-end support to enterprise counterparts and identify root-cause of complex initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting skills across complex applications, servers, and endpoint environments.
  • Ability to learn onboard and adapt to new technologies.
  • Privileged access management experience and designing solutions based on least privilege.
  • Basic knowledge of malware operation, indicators or threat.
  • Current threat landscape knowledge.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security +, GIAC Security Fundamentals, GIAC Security Essentials, ISC2 Associate, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals nice to have.
