**Lead PHP Developer Position**

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished lead developer with extensive experience in PHP development to join our team.

  • As the lead developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • You will manage and lead a team of PHP developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, defining project scope, ensuring timely delivery of solutions, designing and optimizing database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for MySQL and MSSQL databases.
  • Additionally, you will ensure that the team adheres to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality code.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2-3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Expertise in MySQL and MSSQL, including database design and query optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of CodeIgniter PHP frameworks.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Excellent understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
