Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop new or changing existing web applications and APIs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop web applications and APIs
    • Maintain and troubleshoot web applications and APIs
    • Write and maintain reliable code
    • Integrate with data storage solutions
    • Create services using microservices architecture
    • Dockerize the application/service
    • Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
    • Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team
    • Connect applications with other internal or third-party systems
  • Must-Have Skills:
    • Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
    • Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing
    • Solid knowledge in React and TypeScript, demonstrating the ability to work with modern frontend technologies
    • Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service)
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in designing and developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and developing new web applications and APIs
  2. Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications and APIs
  3. Writing and maintaining reliable code
  4. Integrating with data storage solutions
  5. Creating services using microservices architecture
  6. Dockerizing the application/service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
