Financial Leadership Position

This is a key leadership role for an accomplished finance professional with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to lead the finance function.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in finance with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a strategic mindset to partner closely with senior executives and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Strategy
    • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with business growth goals.
    • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Provide financial insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Control & Operations
    • Oversee accounting, audits, taxation, and statutory reporting.
    • Strengthen internal controls and ensure robust MIS and financial governance.
    • Implement efficient systems for cash-flow, cost management, and profitability tracking.
  • Treasury & Capital Management
    • Manage liquidity, treasury operations, and working capital.
    • Support fundraising initiatives (debt, equity, co-lending, securitization).
    • Ensure optimal capital utilization and healthy balance sheet management.
  • Risk, Compliance & Audit
    • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Drive strong risk management frameworks covering credit, operational, and financial risks.
    • Lead internal and external audits with timely closure of observations.
  • Stakeholder & Investor Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with banks, rating agencies, auditors, and regulators.
    • Presentation of accurate, timely financial performance to stakeholders.
    • Support investor relations and due diligence for fundraises.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong background in NBFC/BFSI sector with exposure to MSME lending preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, compliance, treasury, and risk management.
  • Experience in debt/equity fundraising and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead teams and establish high standards of financial governance.
