Lead QA Test Automation Engineer SDET

Omnichannel businesses require robust software quality assurance frameworks to ensure seamless customer experiences. As a Lead QA Test Automation Engineer SDET, you will design and implement test automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality and address any issues identified during testing.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing metrics and implementing data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated tests using various frameworks.
  • Create test cases and perform manual testing as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve testing-related issues.
  • Design and implement quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Automation Quality Assurance
  • Manual Testing
  • Test Cases creation
  • Ability to build testing automation framework from scratch and integration with CI/CD pipeline
  • Proficiency in Software Testing and understanding of Software Development principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is mandatory
  • Ability to present QA Automation solutions to customers and leadership
  • Experience with eCommerce and CRM in enterprise setting

Tools and Technologies:

  • Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium
  • POSTMAN, API Testing, Mobile Application Testing, Reporting Tools
  • APM platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK
