Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist to join our team at Paymeindia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge intelligence features that elevate our product's value.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Managers to conceptualize and deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth delivery of features to users.
  • Take ownership of projects from development through to deployment, upholding the highest standards of quality.
  • Implement robust feedback loops within solutions to refine and enhance models over time.
  • Craft elegant code with automated testing and deployment pipelines to ensure a scalable workflow.
  • Manage project timelines effectively, coordinating with cross-functional teams to bring innovations to production on schedule.
  • Communicate proactively as a key member of a distributed team, ensuring synchronization with colleagues.
  • Set up and maintain vigilant monitoring for services in production, allowing proactive issue resolution and seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of proven work experience as a ML Engineer/Data Scientist.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOPS, SOLID, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Lang chain/Llama Index).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow, Keras) and proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks (Django or FastAPI or Flask).
  • Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery).
  • Extensive experience integrating with or creating REST APIs.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Rabbit Mq).

Salary Estimate:

We offer a competitive salary of ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
