Senior Public Relations Consultant Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis, providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email to build strong relationships and networks.
  • Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis and provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.
  • Monitor media coverage, including traditional and digital sources, and track newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities.

Publicity & Campaign Management

  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns, strategize execution, and create quarterly roadmaps.
  • Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media and promote news stories and features.
  • Document all campaigns, testimonials, and coverage, and design and manage publicity brochures, websites, and promotional videos when budgets are allocated.

Event Management

  • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits, and attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms.
  • Coordinate studio or location photography and speak publicly at interviews, conferences, and presentations.

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement

  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness, conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries, and keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities.

Research & Analysis

  • Commission and undertake market research, research new business proposals, and analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.

Team Contribution

  • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment, maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed, and ensure proper documentation across all initiatives.
