SAP WM Functional

Our team is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in warehouse management (WM), sales and distribution (SD), and materials management (MM) processes. The ideal candidate should have acquired this knowledge through at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Familiarity with transportation management (TM) process is required, while knowledge of SAP TM process is a significant advantage.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for creating outbound deliveries and SD shipments.
  • Packaging instructions, warehouse units (HU's), transport orders (TO), and confirmations are crucial tasks that need to be performed efficiently.
  • The candidate should possess expertise in the IDOC (intermediate document) process and web services.
  • Basic debugging skills are essential for this role.
  • Interface knowledge and implementation experience are necessary to succeed in this position.
  • A thorough understanding of end-to-end rollout projects is also required.

The successful candidate will be able to map customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly using SAP. They should possess a good understanding of supply chain logistics processes and be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include working closely with customer business teams and project teams, conducting requirement gathering workshops, and mapping these requirements into SAP WM processes. Additionally, the candidate will identify gaps and provide solutions to these gaps.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with custom development processes, unit testing, function testing, integration testing, go-live, and support phases.

Broad knowledge of cross-modules like MM, SD, and TM is highly beneficial for this role.

The ability to design and configure WM processes is crucial for success in this position.

A deep understanding of warehouse structure, inbound and outbound logistics processes, put-away strategies, replenishment, SU & HU management, and KANBAN process & RF menu is essential.
