    About the Role:

  • The Counselling Team Leader will play a pivotal role in driving strategic processes, guiding counselling teams, and spearheading growth initiatives for Leap Scholar.
  • This position involves owning regional profit-loss accounts for teams of counsellors, leading teams of 80-100 counsellors by demonstrating leadership skills, creating a superlative work culture, and driving exponential growth.
  • The team leader will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop short-term and long-term strategies, create a sustainable customer base, and drive business growth.
  • Auditing, overseeing, and implementing operational initiatives for the organization will be key responsibilities.
  • The team leader will leverage independence and decision-making autonomy to drive team growth, own end-to-end processes from top-of-funnel (TOFU) to bottom-of-funnel (BOFU).

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the study abroad industry.
  • Should have over 10-12 years of experience managing profit-loss accounts with a team of 50+ professionals.
  • Experience scaling teams, designing processes across 2-3 companies, and a strong grasp of technology is essential.
  • Must be exceptional at operational excellence – defining, monitoring, and improving processes and metrics.
  • Competent at managing multiple stakeholders across the business, channel partners, counsellors, operations, etc.
  • Strong client and non-client support through 100% compliance of application processes.
