Electrical and Instrumentation Manager Position Overview

The Electrical and Instrumentation Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical, electronics, and instrumentation systems within an organization. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to drive maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Strong communication, team management, and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise maintenance activities for electrical, electronics, and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in machine panels, drive systems, SCADA, PLCs, and automation controls to minimize downtime and maximize availability.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, breakdown analysis, and equipment history to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all electrical & instrumentation works to safeguard personnel and assets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and systems to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Relevant degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
