Job Title: Audit Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our audit team as an Audit Associate. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of auditing principles, accounting standards, and risk management.

About the Role:

The Audit Associate will be responsible for planning and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with applicable standards. This includes assessing internal controls, identifying weaknesses, and recommending process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits: Develop and implement audit plans, execute audit procedures, and document findings.
  • Assess internal controls: Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
  • Review financial statements: Examine financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare audit reports: Draft clear, concise audit reports that include conclusions and recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (master's preferred)
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
  • 1-4 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or internal audit role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and risk management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
