Our organization is seeking a highly skilled AS400 administrator with expertise in LPAR life cycle management, HMC, storage, and SAN replication. The ideal candidate will have experience managing AS400 environments across multiple sites, ensuring system stability, replication, and smooth go-live transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire LPAR lifecycle – creation, import, clone, deployment, migration, start-up, shut down, and deletion.
• Configure server pools and manage servers on Power systems.
• Perform basic setup and firmware updates for IBM i, HMC, storage, and SAN switches.
• Document vWWPN mappings to corresponding LPARs.
• Implement SAN zoning, mapping, and storage replication between data centers.
• Support test environments on Power9 and AS400 systems.
• Conduct regular data replication checks and align with network teams for seamless replication.
• Prepare and execute infrastructure test procedures, dress rehearsals, and go-live activities.
• Adapt and update operations, monitoring, and administration processes for new environments.
