Job Title: Embedded System Developer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded System Developer to join our team. As an embedded system developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded systems that power a wide range of products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, design and develop software and hardware components, and ensure seamless integration of all system components. Your expertise in embedded system development, combined with your ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, makes you an ideal fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware from scratch as necessary to meet project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure cohesive hardware design and firmware integration.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for core technologies, embedded hardware, and electrical engineering teams.
  • Partner with program manager and company leadership on key product deliverables and timelines.
  • Mentor and lead a team of interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of work experience in Embedded Systems and Hardware Design.
  • Exceptional hands-on skills with testing equipment such as Multimeters, Scopes, DCAs, Logic Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Past experience working with and integrating expensive, high-resolution sensors.
  • Past experience manufacturing and shipping embedded hardware product.
  • Past experience working with antenna and GSM-based IoT Devices.
  • Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
