Audit Professional Role Overview

This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will contribute to the success of our clients by providing timely, high-quality service with large and small companies in various industries. You will develop strong working relationships while collaborating closely with teams to understand clients' businesses and challenges.

You will serve our clients by:

  • Developing and demonstrating an understanding of our audit approach, methodology, and tools
  • Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with our audit methodology based on the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed
  • Identifying accounting and auditing issues; discussing with the audit-in-charge to solve issues that arise
  • Assisting the engagement team in preparing audit reports and management letters
  • Exercising professional skepticism, judgment, and adhering to the code of ethics while on engagements
  • Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards
  • Working collaboratively as part of the team and communicating effectively with RSM professionals, supervisors, and senior management on a daily basis
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients
  • Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables
  • Understanding our line of business service offerings and working as a team to provide integrated service delivery
  • Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
  • Participating in a range of projects and being open to collaborating with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work
  • Developing an understanding of clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or MBA
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/ ACCA/CPA, 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as the position requires frequent communications with clients

Favorable Qualifications

  • Experience in Private Equity is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-focused
  • Ability to multitask
  • Qualified CA Freshers with Articleship
  • Qualified ACCA/CPA Fresher
  • ACCA/CPA Pursuing (halfway through the qualification)
