Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

At Egen, we seek a seasoned and highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist to join our fast-growing team. This pivotal role will play a key part in crafting and implementing ML applications by evaluating models, fine-tuning, and/or training them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable machine learning pipelines on cloud platforms like GCP for end-to-end data analysis, model selection, and deployment.
  • Evaluate machine learning models and perform necessary tuning for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy prompts that instruct LLMs to generate relevant and accurate responses.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of LLM responses, iteratively modifying prompts to enhance their performance.
  • Develop and implement techniques for dealing with outliers, handling imbalances, analyzing data distributions (univariate, bivariate, multivariate), transforming numerical and categorical data into features, feature selection, model selection, and model training and deployment.
  • Proven expertise in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments for real-life applications.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience designing and building AI applications for customers and deploying them into production environments.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience in building secure, scalable, and performant applications for customers.
  • Proficiency in Python, Numpy, Pandas, and various ML libraries such as XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and LangChain.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud or other cloud platforms and their machine learning services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
