We are seeking a seasoned embedded systems security expert to join our runtime team in the industrial automation sector. This role involves ensuring the cybersecurity of our architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of runtime codebase.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in coding for multitask embedded systems running on Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows. Proficiency in object-oriented design with C/C++ and scripting languages like Python, Bash, Shell, and PowerShell is also required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with our runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to develop secure software according to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) standards.
  2. Provide guidance on architecting, designing, and threat modeling to team members during the development cycle. Perform regular code reviews as part of the SDL process.
  3. Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues and related technical debt in third-party packages.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  2. Seasoned programming skills with C/C++ and scripting languages
  3. Knowledge of common cybersecurity issues and vulnerabilities in C/C++, IEC 62443-4-2, and Open-source software
  4. Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis, Static Code Analysis, and Fuzz testing
  5. Able to work with cross-functional and global teams
