Job Title: Data Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our enterprise-level applications. This position requires a strong background in quality assurance, data engineering, and software testing.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in quality assurance on large-scale projects, with expertise in test life cycle management, defect tracking, and test case preparation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and debugging of defects, and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data quality assurance.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to improve overall team performance.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years of Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Testing.
  • Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.
  • Knowledge of different Testing framework, tool, methodologies
  • Knowledge on Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory is good to have.
  • Should have experience testing in medium to large projects.
  • Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
  • Leading test team.
  • Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.
  • Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.
  • Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment.
  • Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc)
