This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the preparation, testing, and release of software within a customer environment. The suitable candidate will be responsible for incident resolution as well as request fulfillment, and will also contribute to the BAU support of the Endpoint environment.

The primary responsibilities of this position include ensuring the right packaging and delivery approach is used, executing the steps of the application packaging process within SLA limits, resolving incidents and requests related to packages in accordance with the SLA, updating the customer and ITSM ticket throughout its lifecycle, and liaising with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors where needed.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, employing available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield, RayPack, etc.

A thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks, Windows 11, and AD Group Policies is required, as well as intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting in support of automating application installations. Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, is also necessary, along with excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the right packaging and delivery approach is used, depending on the application.
  • Execute the steps of the application packaging process within the SLA limits.
  • Resolve incidents and requests related to packages in accordance with the SLA.
  • Update the customer and the ITSM ticket throughout its lifecycle.
  • Liaise with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors where needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting.
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in preparing applications for a Citrix environment.
  • Microsoft Certifications (MD-100: Windows 10, MD-101: Managing modern desktops, or MD-102: Endpoint Administrator).
  • Experience supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
