Job Title: Packaging Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our packaging design and development efforts. As a Packaging Development Manager, you will be responsible for the creation of innovative packaging solutions that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharma, nutraceuticals/cosmeceuticals, and FMC packaging. A full-time degree from IIP is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging Design & Development for new & existing products (Domestic & International)
  • New Product Development Project for Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Business
  • Design & Development, Artwork Development, Transit Trials, Packaging Specification development, Stability studies, Prototype approval, Line trials, Cost negation, Packaging material delivery & Implementation, Alternate packaging option
  • Financial delivery in cost savings for packaging materials through strategic buying initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strategic Project Initiatives: Business analysis, Spend analysis, Opportunity Analysis, Option generation, Portfolio analysis, Sourcing approach, Strategy creation & Implementation
  • Cost saving initiative for packaging materials: Specification optimisation, Size rationalisation
  • Innovation: new ideas around packaging - material, design & process
  • Project Management: New export customer requirement launch support (Biologics & Other Injectable), Packaging Procurement Operations (NPD)
