We are seeking a skilled Principal Statistical Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing statistical programming strategies related to innovation in technologies, automation, processes, and standards to maximize efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing a programming ecosystem to enable successful project deliverables. They will also be responsible for reviewing statistical analysis plans, mock-shells, database set-up specifications, and validating or reviewing programming packages (including aCRFs, specifications, and datasets).

Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation of statistical programming strategy related to innovation in technologies, automation, processes, and standards to maximize efficiency
  2. Support the development and implementation of a programming ecosystem to enable successful project deliverables
  3. Review statistical analysis plans, mock-shells, database set-up specifications
  4. Validate or review the Programming packages (includes the aCRFs, specifications and datasets
  5. Define.XML and Reviewer's Guides (for both SDTM and ADaM)
  6. Develop department programming standards to meet business needs and regulatory requirements, enabling efficient and seamless production of deliverables
  7. Develop innovative solutions to standardize, automate, and optimize efficiency and quality
  8. Proactively addresses project uncertainties to minimize risk and alerts or escalates the issue to the appropriate person (project team member, lead biostatistician, or management)
  9. Identify, communicate, and overcome technical and interpersonal obstacles
  10. Development and maintenance of tracking systems, folder systems, and archival of analysis
  11. Contributes strategies that allow multi-tasking or efficient implementation to reduce execution time to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
  12. Build a team of programmers to support ongoing pipeline expansion
