Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead our electrical design aspects of projects. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and planning electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, cabling, and control systems.

  • Design and develop electrical designs that meet project specifications, including electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct electrical load calculations, power studies, and select appropriate equipment and materials for project needs.
  • Develop and review design documents, including drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project integration, manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

  • Manage the electrical engineering portion of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Review vendor proposals, conduct technical evaluations, and oversee procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Support the construction team during the implementation phase of the project.

You will also identify potential risks in the electrical design process and proactively address them to avoid delays or cost overruns. Additionally, you will provide solutions to technical problems that arise during the design or implementation phases.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical design principles, including power distribution, circuit design, lighting systems, and control systems. You should have proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools. We are looking for a highly analytical person who can conduct load calculations, power analysis, and fault analysis. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
