Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

About the Role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure architectures using Azure native tools and industry leading technologies.
  • Develop and automate monitoring, instrumentation, and remediation processes for our Azure infrastructure.
  • Mentor and coach teams on DevOps best practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Cross-train team members on new skills and technologies to improve overall team performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with web-based products.
  • 6+ years of Public Cloud (Azure) experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on Monitoring tools like Splunk, APM monitoring, and setup.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years of monitoring web-based applications in both Azure and on-prem data centers.
  • 5+ years of experience with at least one scripting language such as Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
  • 4+ years of team handling experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Application and Security logging experience.
  • Monitoring tools experience (Splunk, Dynatrace, Splunk Observability, Splunk On-call).
  • Scripted environments experience.
  • Configuration as code experience.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience (i.e. Terraform).
  • Operations experience.
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.
  • Real-time automated metrics and reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of Chef/Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Git (contributions on GitHub).
