Job Summary

As a Payroll Administrator at Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Ltd, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing activities, including timekeeping, payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements. You will ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding payroll and employee compensation. Additionally, you will maintain accurate employee records and payroll data, coordinate employee benefits, and prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing activities, including timekeeping, payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding payroll and employee compensation.

• Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data.

• Coordinate employee benefits, including medical insurance and other perks.

• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in payroll administration or related HR roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA-HR preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel or similar spreadsheet software.

• Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements related to payroll processing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and external vendors.

• Proven ability to identify and resolve payroll issues effectively, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT departments.

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
