Job Title: Senior PHP Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team at GFL Recruitment Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the industry and expertise in Laravel Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Code Development: Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular code.

2. Database Management: Design and maintain databases.

3. Code Reusability: Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug applications.

5. Performance Optimization: Perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers on backend needs.

7. Development Adherence: Adhere to development plans and anticipate changes.

8. Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers and team members.

9. Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with new trends and best practices in web development.

Required Skills:

1. PHP: Demonstrable experience with PHP, including OOP, security, refactoring, and design patterns.

2. Laravel Framework: Excellent knowledge of Laravel framework and experience building jobs/events/migrations/commands/factories/facades/libraries.

3. Testing Frameworks: Experience in unit testing using PHPUnit/phpspec.

4. RDBMS: Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL), database designing, and query optimization techniques.

5. NoSQL Databases: Experience in NoSQL databases will be an added advantage.

6. Frontend Technologies: Good core knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Bootstrap framework.

7. API Design: Experience in RESTful API design, documentation, and development.

8. Version Control: Working knowledge of version controlling systems like Git, Gitflow workflow, and repository management tools.

9. Cloud Servers: Working knowledge of cloud servers (AWS) and server administration.

Nice to Have:

1. Docker/Homestead: Docker/Homestead experience.

2. Composer Packages: Ability to make composer packages.

3. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills.
