Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications & Narrative Development: Develop compelling communication strategies and narratives for political, policy, and election campaigns.
  • Digital Strategy & Advertising: Oversee digital advertising strategy and execution using analytics to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Content Ideation & Oversight: Lead a team to produce high-quality content, including Shorts and long-form videos.
  • Channel Growth & SEO: Drive subscriber growth and viewership by optimizing videos for the YouTube algorithm and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Audience Analytics: Analyze audience retention, traffic sources, and demographics using insights to inform future content.
  • Content Innovation: Stay ahead of YouTube trends, experiment with new formats, and analyze competitor channels.
  • Crisis Communication Preparedness: Develop crisis communication plans and ensure timely response management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Political Acumen: Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, socio-economic issues, and current affairs.
  • Professional Experience: 8-10 years in communications, video production, or channel management, ideally in media, PR, public affairs, or a political setting.
  • YouTube Expertise: Expertise in YouTube, including the algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
  • Video Storytelling: Strong ability to craft compelling political narratives for video.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing video production workflows, creative teams, and project timelines.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Thrives in fast-paced environments with a proactive approach and strong ownership.
  • Familiarity with Analytics Tools: Understanding of YouTube Studio is essential.
