Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who has a passion for fandom culture and strong design skills. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for designing featured images for our websites and creating social media thumbnails, banners, and creatives as instructed by the Visual Content Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging visuals for articles published on our website that resonate with our audience.
  • Design thumbnails and social media creatives (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) that align with branding and campaign goals.
  • Work closely with the Visual Content Manager to deliver content-specific creatives for dedicated pages (anime, fandoms, movies).
  • Maintain consistency in design style across different platforms while tailoring visuals for specific audiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in graphic designing with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tools.
  • Ability to design engaging thumbnails and creatives optimized for social media platforms.
  • Strong sense of color contrast, composition, and typography.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with entertainment, pop culture, or media brands.
  • Familiarity with memes and internet culture to make content more relatable.

Work Details

  • This role is remote.
  • The successful candidate will report to the Visual Content Manager.
  • The working schedule will be 6 days a week.
