Job Title: Senior Underwriter

We are seeking a seasoned Underwriting expert to assume end-to-end ownership of complex underwriting cases. As a key member of our team in Tirupati, the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating borrower profiles using the 4 Cs of Credit – Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complete case ownership with meticulous attention to detail
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments using the 4 Cs of Credit
  • Evaluate comprehensive credit reports to ensure accurate risk assessment
  • Process both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, debt-to-income ratio evaluation, loan-to-value ratio assessment, asset analysis, and PITI review
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3.5 years of hands-on underwriting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of credit report analysis, DTI, LTV, PITI, income & asset calculations
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
