Software Engineer II Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Engineer II with a strong background in software development, particularly in GoLang/Java programming languages. This role involves participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including scoping, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take pride and ownership in their work as well as contribute significantly to the overall success of the team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

\Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  2. 3.5+ years of software development experience using GoLang/Java programming language
  3. Proficiency with Javascript and common modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Webpack) as well as HTML/CSS
  4. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and containerization required
  5. A proven track record developing fast, reliable, scalable distributed web services.
  6. Demonstrate a working knowledge of RESTful API design, the HTTP stack and Browser limitations
  7. Experience with a micro-services architecture
  8. Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
  9. Experience with PostgreSQL or other Relational Databases
  10. Test-driven development mindset and a focus on quality, scalability and performance
  11. Strong programming fundamentals and ability to produce high-quality code
  12. Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Development Process required
