At the heart of our company's success lies a robust analytics ecosystem, designed to simplify complex financial data and empower informed decision-making.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead who can spearhead the development and implementation of this ecosystem. This key role will oversee the design and scaling of data warehouses, dashboards, business rules, and machine learning deployment pipelines.

This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise in data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and cloud platforms. A proven track record in leading small teams and stakeholder management is also essential.

  • Data Engineering Responsibilities:
  • - Design and implement scalable data warehouses and curated data views.
  • - Establish best practices for data modeling, documentation, and governance.
  • - Mentor team members on advanced SQL and data engineering techniques.
  • Dashboarding & Visualization:
  • - Develop and enforce dashboard standards, usability, and accessibility.
  • - Collaborate with stakeholders to create executive-level and operational dashboards.
  • - Manage a backlog of dashboard requests with clear service level agreements.
  • Business Rule Engines (BREs):
  • - Own the design and governance of production rule engines for credit/fraud policies.
  • - Ensure scalable, tested, and version-controlled deployment of rules.
  • - Partner with Risk/Policy/Product teams for agile implementation.
  • Machine Learning Deployment & Maintenance:
  • - Lead the deployment and monitoring of batch-based machine learning models.
  • - Define standards for model execution, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
  • - Collaborate with model builders for smooth model-to-production handoff.
  • Automation & SLAs:
  • - Define and enforce service level agreements for data, dashboard, and BRE changes.
  • - Introduce automated solutions using tools like GenAI, n8n, dbt, CI/CD.
  • - Continuously improve efficiency of analytics delivery.
  • Team Leadership:
  • - Lead a small team of analysts/engineers with responsibility for prioritization, quality, and development.
  • - Conduct regular reviews, mentorship, and skill development.
  • - Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the analytics team.

Requirements:

  • - 5–8 years of experience in analytics engineering / BI / data platforms.
  • - Advanced SQL, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration skills.
  • - Strong BI expertise (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or equivalent).
  • - Hands-on experience with machine learning model deployment (batch pipelines, monitoring, scheduling).
  • - Familiarity with cloud platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • - Experience with workflow automation (Airflow, dbt, n8n, CI/CD).
  • - Prior experience in leading small teams and stakeholder management.
