We are currently seeking an expert in Computer Vision and Estimation to join our team of innovators.

 

Job Role:

Computer Vision and Estimation Engineer

 

This is a challenging project that aims to develop and demonstrate drone technologies with applications in various sectors. We will leverage advanced technologies and infrastructure to foster strong industry-academia collaborations, addressing real-world challenges and driving innovation.

 

A comprehensive training program ensures awareness and proficiency in drone operations. Our team develops computer vision algorithms for navigation, detection, tracking, path planning, and control systems.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • PhD or relevant experience OR
  • MTech / ME or equivalent with relevant experience OR
  • BTech / BE or equivalent with relevant experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop computer vision algorithms for UAV applications
  • Implement advanced perception techniques using Optical Flow, Visual-Inertial Odometry, SLAM, or Vision-based Velocimetry
  • Integrate developed algorithms with autopilot systems and optimize for real-time deployment on embedded Linux-based platforms
  • Collaborate in system modeling and simulation to ensure reliable UAV performance
  • Contribute to UAV system design and testing, focusing on stability, control, and mission-level autonomy

 

Key Skills:

  • Familiarity with autopilot firmware, such as PX4 and ArduPilot
  • Knowledge of drones and aerial robots
  • Proficiency in programming languages and simulation tools (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, etc.)
