As a seasoned Data Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure data environments in Snowflake, ensuring seamless integration with business needs. Your expertise will also extend to designing audit logs and monitoring solutions to track data access and actions within Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design secure Snowflake environments tailored to business requirements using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Design and implement audit logs and monitoring solutions to track data access and actions within Snowflake.
  • Lead incident detection and response processes related to security breaches or vulnerabilities within Snowflake.
  • Stay updated with the latest Snowflake security features and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies are integrated across the data pipeline.
  • Report security status, risks, and strategies to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in designing applicative security using RBAC.
  • Strong understanding of database security, encryption algorithms, and authentication protocols.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Snowflake applicative security controls and configurations.
  • Technical skills: Experience in designing applicative security frameworks and governance models, experience in SQL and Hadoop-type database knowledge (>3 years), Python experience preferred.
  • Soft skills: Good presentation and communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a must to operate in a multicultural environment.
