Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Security Validation Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the highest level of system security. This role requires strong technical expertise in software development, computer networking and security functionality.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on requirements.
  • Analyze complex new features through documentation review and collaboration with Development and Application teams.
  • Design, implement and run a range of tests including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance and stress testing.
  • Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments.
  • Closely collaborate with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET).
  • Solid understanding of computer networking, including IP and Telnet.
  • Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms and common security functionalities.
  • Proficiency in C, Java and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools.
  • Exposure to continuous integration environments.
  • Prior experience in team leadership and/or coordination.
  • Knowledge of the IoT domain.
