We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

A visionary leader with 7-9 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform is required to play a key role in shaping our overall cloud architecture. This will involve ensuring it aligns with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions (DevOps, Development, Security).
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
  • Respond to systems alerts, investigate and resolve related system failures, and recover/restore failed systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members.
  • Mentor other team members in all facets listed above.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • 7-9 years of experience in information technology.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM.
  • Experience with repository management (Git).
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces.
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience.
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services.
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Process and technical documentation skills.
