Production Support Specialist

A Production Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing production systems during night shifts to ensure seamless operations and prompt incident response. They will execute end-of-day and beginning-of-day job processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

Key responsibilities include coordinating DC and DR failover activities, performing system patching activities, and collaborating with various teams to resolve production issues efficiently. Additionally, they will prepare periodic status reports detailing performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with EOD/BOD job handling and managing DC, DR failover activities. They should also have knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Linux systems, as well as basic understanding of database systems (DB2). Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

The Production Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of production systems. They must be able to work independently, make critical decisions during the night shift, and demonstrate dedication towards duties and responsibilities.
