About Software Development Initiative Leaders:

We are seeking seasoned professionals to lead software development initiatives and drive successful project delivery from inception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of complex technical projects, ensuring seamless delivery and on-time completion.
  • Facilitation of agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Cross-functional team coordination across development, QA, DevOps, and design teams.
  • Creation of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for large-scale technical projects.
  • Risk monitoring and mitigation strategy implementation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of project documentation, requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Implementation of process improvements and best practices for development workflows.
  • Resource allocation and workload distribution management across development teams.
  • Release activity and deployment schedule coordination with engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in software development environments.
  • Strong expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Proficiency in project management tools and development platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing full software development lifecycle projects.
  • Understanding of software development processes and modern engineering practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to work with technical teams.
  • Experience with cross-functional team coordination and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills:

  • Jira/Azure DevOps
  • Git and version control systems
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
  • Agile project management frameworks
  • Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace
  • Project tracking and reporting tools
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification
  • Previous experience as a software developer or in a technical role
  • Experience with enterprise software development and cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools
  • Experience with remote/distributed team management
  • Familiarity with data analytics and performance metrics
