Lead Data Architect

This is a senior-level position responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive data architecture framework for a leading NBFC company operating in India.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based analytics platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering. They will be responsible for designing, architecting, and developing end-to-end data solutions on the Azure Stack platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions using Azure services.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform advanced data modeling, data profiling, and data quality assessments to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other data-specific cloud services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.

Skills:

Knowledge:

  • Python/SQL programming.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
