This role is based in Bhubaneswar and will involve coordinating with landowners, local authorities, and government bodies to secure land parcels for our renewable energy projects.
SalaryExpected salary range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and acquiring land parcels for our renewable energy projects, including water treatment plants (WTP) and sewage treatment plants (STP). The role involves:
- Land Identification and Assessment:
• Identifying suitable land parcels based on technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting feasibility studies, site visits, and surveys to assess land quality and suitability.
- Negotiation and Acquisition:
• Negotiating terms and pricing with landowners, brokers, and stakeholders to finalize acquisition deals.
• Preparing and reviewing agreements, MoUs, and contracts with legal teams to ensure compliance.
• Handling land purchase, lease, or conversion processes as required by the project.
- Documentation and Legal Compliance:
• Ensuring proper due diligence, title verification, and documentation for all land transactions.
• Coordinating with legal teams to resolve disputes, litigations, or encumbrances related to land.
• Obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and clearances from regulatory bodies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
• Building strong relationships with local authorities, government agencies, and community representatives.
• Addressing concerns of local communities and resolving conflicts to facilitate smooth land acquisition.
- Regulatory and Compliance Management:
• Ensuring adherence to land acquisition laws, environmental regulations, and corporate policies.
• Staying updated on government policies, subsidies, and incentives related to land acquisition for energy and infrastructure projects.
- Coordination and Reporting:
• Working closely with project teams, surveyors, and liaison officers to align land acquisition activities with project timelines.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing regular reports on the progress and status of land acquisition activities.
Qualifications and SkillsTo be considered for this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related fields.
• 7-10 years of experience in land acquisition, particularly in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or water sector.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale land acquisition projects.
