Senior IT Disaster Recovery Specialist

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust DR solutions across infrastructure pillars, ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of critical data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design reference architecture and technical workflows for backup, replication, and recovery aligned with RTO/RPO targets.
- Evaluate and select DR technologies and platforms based on performance, scalability, and integration capabilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical fluency in backup platforms, replication technologies, and networking fundamentals, and will be capable of translating business continuity requirements into scalable, validated architectures.
A key aspect of this role is collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure connectivity and failover readiness across environments.
The Disaster Recovery Engineer will also lead and coordinate regular disaster recovery and backup exercises, including failover and restoration procedures.
