Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance expert to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Finance.

About the Role:

This is a tenure-track position that requires teaching, research, and academic development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to high-quality research.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized university/institution and at least 1–3 years of experience in teaching, research, or relevant industry roles. They will also have a proven record of research publications in reputed journals and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Familiarity with teaching tools and financial software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Bloomberg, etc.) is essential, while FinTech, Financial Analytics, or Sustainable Finance knowledge is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, and related areas.
  • Design syllabi, develop teaching content, and use innovative pedagogy.
  • Guide students in projects, internships, and dissertations.
  • Engage in high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum development, and academic planning.
  • Mentor students on academic, career, and research pursuits.
  • Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and industry interactions.
  • Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy and research projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized university/institution is mandatory.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in teaching, research, or relevant industry roles.
  • Proven record of research publications in reputed journals.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with teaching tools and financial software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Bloomberg, etc.).

Familiarity with FinTech, Financial Analytics, or Sustainable Finance is desirable. Experience in handling case-based teaching and real-world financial simulations is also preferred.
