A Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) Specialist is required to implement the GRC system for our clients. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our clients' IT environment is secure and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and participate in initiatives to reduce technology risk and improve governance and compliance with policies and external regulations.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement IT security standards, procedures and controls to manage risks, enhancing client security posture through process improvement, policy automation and capability evolution.
  • Analyze information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to analyze requirements and design clients' information security posture, ensuring alignment with Legal, Regulatory and Scheme security requirements.
  • Support delivery of work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, Bahrain PDPL and incident management disciplines.
  • Perform internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, evaluating incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document control failures and gaps, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideal qualifications include CEH, CISSP, CISA or CISM.
  • Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions under tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change collaboratively.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
