About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to design, develop and maintain scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize backend services using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs with high performance, security and scalability in mind.
  • Work closely with SQL/MySQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries and improve database performance.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of backend development experience with Java.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL including indexes, joins, query optimization and data modeling.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills with production systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization is preferred.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
