Research Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished physicist to join our team as a research specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theoretical physics and excellent analytical skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to test the capabilities of large language models. This will involve creating abstract physics problems, analyzing model responses, and identifying gaps in logic or understanding.

The ultimate goal is to measure how well these models handle structured problem-solving and abstract thinking. You will work on tasks such as calculating the probability of a high-energy particle decaying within a certain distance from its origin, and finding the exact joint probability distribution of scaled times in 1D Brownian motion.

To succeed in this position, you must have completed or be pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field. You will need strong research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to provide clear feedback with examples.

You should be comfortable working independently and have stable computer and internet access.
