Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to safeguard infrastructure and applications.
  • Operate sophisticated VA/PT tools, prioritize remediation based on risk, and generate in-depth vulnerability reports.
  • Maintain consistent scanning activities, thoroughly analyze results, and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor vendor and third-party advisories for emerging vulnerabilities and potential security threats.
  • Collaborate closely with IT/business teams to provide expert remediation and audit support.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency in advanced VA/PT tools and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of CVE, CVSS, OWASP, network security concepts, and packet analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with incident response, host security, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
  • Strong analytical skills with a collaborative approach in cross-functional environments and a commitment to excellence.
