Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Engineering and Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications utilizing a range of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Fargate, RDS, etc.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures optimized for cloud scalability, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
DevOps & CI/CD:
  • Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or Jenkins to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
  • Integrate application logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
Security & Compliance:
  • Implement secure access management practices by defining IAM roles, policies, and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., encryption, VPC configuration, data privacy) to maintain the highest level of security and integrity.
Performance & Optimization:
  • Monitor and optimize performance of applications and services using AWS tools to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
  • Conduct cost optimization and right-sizing of resources to achieve optimal resource utilization and minimize waste.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including backend/frontend developers, QA, and cloud architects to drive project success and innovation.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies to foster open communication and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software development with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go, with a focus on developing scalable and efficient cloud-native applications.
  • Experience working with serverless technologies and container-based deployments is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate or higher certification.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL like DynamoDB, Aurora).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture (e.g., SNS, SQS, Kinesis).
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Angular) for full-stack development (optional).
