Financial Operations Manager

Seeking a strategic Financial Operations Manager to spearhead pricing and revenue optimization across merchant acquiring verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Framework Design and Implementation:
    • Design, develop, and implement data-driven pricing frameworks to maximize profitability.
  • Revenue Leakage Identification and Recovery:
    • Develop analytical models to identify undercharges, mismatches, and revenue leakage through transaction-level data analysis.
    • Collaborate with product and business teams to design controls and fixes for plugging leakages across systems and merchant billing.
  • Business Partnering:
    • Act as a finance partner to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ops teams on pricing and profitability insights.
    • Participate in key business reviews offering financial expertise and strategic recommendations.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Design and create dashboards and models to track pricing health, merchant-level profitability, and recovery metrics.
    • Drive automation and visibility across pricing and revenue dashboards using Excel, SQL, Power BI.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in financial operations, pricing, or FP&A roles. Exposure to fintech, payments, or merchant businesses is highly desirable.
  • Qualification: CA/MBA (Finance) or Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative fields.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of merchant acquiring economics, MDR structures, interchange fees, and cost dynamics.
  • Proven ability to conduct financial modeling, pricing strategy, and margin analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL; familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Sharp business acumen with strong ownership and cross-functional influence.
