Senior Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role in developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions.

This position requires a strong background in software development, with expertise in Java, JavaScript, and DevOps technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitLab. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile software development principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT with 3+ years in DevOps
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code technologies like Terraform
  • Experience with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
  • Good experience with agile software development in Java, JavaScript
  • Experience configuring, administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab and Jenkins
  • Experience with linux administration, scripting and python
  • Experience in build tools for java and javascript
  • Good Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience in AWS SDK CLI, Code deploy and other services
  • Good Experience is configuring, administering and deploying monitoring solutions like nagios, datadog, new relic, prometheus, grafana etc

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and managing databases such as PostgreS and MongoDB.
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure from scratch
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
