FPGA Design Specialist

As a key contributor to our team, we are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Specialist. This individual will be responsible for developing high-quality code in Verilog/System Verilog and VHDL for embedded processors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Implementation: Implementing high-quality designs for FPGA-based solutions in Microchip or Xilinx or Altera platforms.
  • Testbench Development: Maintaining existing code and developing testbenches using Verilog/System Verilog.
  • Validation and Verification: Verifying validation designs in simulation environments using BFM/VIP and Synthesis, Placement constraints STA constraint definition and Timing closure for high-speed designs.
  • FPGA-Based Implementation: Validating FPGA-based implementations on HW boards.
  • Embedded Software Development: Writing embedded FW programs in C/C++.
  • System-Level Debugging: Solving systems-level hardware issues using Lab equipment, Embedded debuggers, and RTL debuggers.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in System Design with FPGA devices and relevant FPGA EDA tools.
  • Strong knowledge of digital fundamentals, system design, and verification methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical background in silicon validation, failure analysis, and debugging.
  • Understanding of hardware architectures, use models, and system-level design implementations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl/Perl.
  • Exposure to Version management systems like GitHub/SVN.
  • Conversant with on-chip debug tools.
