The ideal candidate will lead a team, handle objections professionally, negotiate effectively to recover dues while maintaining strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the credit collection process for business clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of collection executives, ensuring targets are met.
- Develop and implement collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
- Negotiate effectively with clients to resolve outstanding dues while maintaining business relationships.
- Address objections and handle client disputes with a problem-solving approach.
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Sales, and Legal) to streamline the collection process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in debt recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and prepare periodic reports for management.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in credit collection, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Industry Preference: Security, Facility Management, Banking, NBFC, or related fields.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and objection-handling ability.
- Team leadership and people management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects of debt collection.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
