Job Title: Python Specialist

Location: PAN India - Major Cities

Experience: 7-10 Years

Work Mode: Hybrid

Job Description:

  1. We seek a highly skilled Big Data Administrator to manage our big data platform.
  2. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day operations, administer and monitor Big Data Platform components, including Hadoop, Hive, HBase, BigSQL, etc.
  3. They will support technical and application team requests for data copies across environments, data cleanup, query tuning, etc.
  4. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user queries, application jobs, etc.
  5. They will also monitor and troubleshoot the Big Data Platform, including hosted DBs, tools, and services.
  6. The job requires creating encryption zones, managing encryption keys, and copying data between encryption zones.
  7. The candidate will support projects and initiatives related to data acquisition, processing, and utilization through the Big Data Platform.
  8. They will maintain and support Big Data Platform CDP Private Cloud and IBM BigSQL across multiple environments.
  9. The ideal candidate will install new versions, patches, support upgrades of CDP Private Cloud and IBM BigSQL.
  10. They will monitor and troubleshoot platform issues and performance tuning.
  11. The candidate will support security policies, documentation, and compliance.
  12. They will document processes and policies for Hadoop System Administration Platform support activities.
  13. The successful candidate will work with end-users to identify and resolve issues.
  14. They will work with vendors to resolve issues as needed.
  15. The ideal candidate will provide governance and support to project teams.
  16. They will upgrade to CDP Private Cloud to CDP Public Cloud.
  17. Mandatory Skills: Dataiku, Python, Java, Linux/Unix, Security Scripting, Automation, R, Flume, Storm, Kafka, BigSQL, MySQL, CICD, Hadoop distributions, open-source and commercial, Data Lake concepts, Big Data capabilities, Data virtualization, replication, Data G, AWS or other Cloudbased PaaSSaaS environments, AWS EMR, Strong communication skill
